The building is essentially organized in one single level placed separately from the Palace and from the “Cerca” (the limit walls) containing exhibition areas, the entrance and the conference rooms. The free and contrasted cover of this new ‘being’ rests over a rational mesh of pillars, setting a new topography that establishes a relation and a connection between the “Torre Obscura” (Dark Tower) and the Palace. Its distance from the “Cerca” provides for the lighting and ventilation of the exhibition areas.
